This beautiful tea ware has silky smooth texture with fine white clay.
Beautiful pattern on surface was created traditional method, called Mogake. It was originally developed in Tokoname where located ocean. Potters cover with seaweeds on pots before firing, and beautiful pattern appre when seaweeds become ash in kiln. It has some variations in color depending on chemical reaction of covered parts with components in clay.
This set consists of shiboridashi and yusamashi. All utensils are fit precisely and can be stacked compactly. This set is perfect for carrying out together with your travel destination.

Artist
Yoshiki is one of skillful artists in Tokoname. What makes his pots unique is Tataki work. It gets the pot to have small dimples and change its texture as if it is made of metal.
